Job Summary: Assist the Gifted and Talented program and Curriculum department to ensure the processes of the program and department are implemented effectively and efficiently to meet the needs of internal and external customers.

High School Diploma / GED
Prefer college hours or an Associate's Degree
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience:
At least 5 years of related experience
Experience with various technology applications

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Leadership and oversight in the creation of materials and forms, organization of the materials and reports, and analysis of data to support and collaborate with specialists in determining next steps in student seminars and other GT events.
- Research, develop, and present professional development regarding Gifted and Talented Student Seminars.
- Provides technical assistance to customers regarding the Gifted and Talented program for student seminars.
- Create comprehensive manuals, challenges, and tasks for various Student Seminars.
- Facilitate virtual student seminars such as Imagination Fair.
- Tracks participant and student registrations for Student Seminars, including mandatory documents and forms.
- Screens incoming calls and correspondence, and responds independently when possible, providing callers with information and assistance.
- Ability to research and answer questions regarding G/T Training and laws related to gifted education.
- Ability to research and answer questions regarding Credit by Exam requirements.
- Works collaboratively with all ESC staff in serving the customers of Region 7 ESC.
- Coordinates volunteers and judges for Student Seminars.
- Maintains a positive and professional attitude to external and internal customers.
- Reviews assigned department budgets, researches and provides purchasing quotes, initiates purchase order requisitions as needed in Ascender, and completes Budget Amendments as needed.
- Provides assistance, as approved by the coordinator, to others in the Curriculum Services department in order to complete projects and tasks within timelines.
- Communicates regularly with members of the assigned program to compile data and produce reports; assists the supervisor in proofreading paperwork and documents, and edits for content as necessary.
- Attends and actively participates in ESC-required meetings.
- Completes the Workshop Cycle tasks, including monitoring and tracking online registrations for assigned areas in Omnitrack within deadlines.
- Greet scheduled and unscheduled visitors in an engaging, professional manner, informing the appropriate staff member of the visitor’s needs and escorting visitors to the appropriate individual or place.
