Major Responsibilities and Duties: 1. Assist in relieving assigned professional staff of clerical work and minor administrative and business details. 2. Screen incoming calls and correspondence, and respond independently when possible, providing information/assistance to callers regarding general information. 3. Answer and return phone calls and emails in a timely manner. 4. Maintain a positive and professional attitude to the customer and ESC staff. 5. Greet scheduled and unscheduled visitors in a welcoming, professional manner, inform the appropriate staff member of the visitor’s needs, and conduct visitors to the appropriate individual or place. 6. Organize and maintain adequate office supplies and equipment for the department. 7. Complete the workshop cycle tasks, including monitoring and tracking online registration for assigned workshops, fee payment, and maintaining virtual folders, etc. 8. Prepare materials including handouts, notebooks, book orders, etc. 9. Communicate regularly with assigned professionals to organize and prioritize project tasks. 10. Provide assistance as approved by the supervisor to assist other administrative assistants in the Center for Curriculum Services in order to complete projects/tasks within timelines. 11. Proof weekly time accounting for all administrative assistants. 12. Work collaboratively with all ESC staff in serving the customers of Region 7 ESC. 13. Complete Curriculum Services monthly reports, as assigned. 14. Assist with conferences, as directed. 15. Assist with travel arrangements for supervisors and specialists. 16. Scan all department paperwork and maintain the S: drive for the Curriculum department. 17. Maintain assigned budgets. 18. Regular and reliable attendance. 19. Other duties, as assigned. |
